As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated NOAM Senior Business Development Manager to drive our growth across key regions.
Role Overview
You will own new-business growth in the US & Canada across three pillars:
- K-12 school districts – secure district-wide adoption of our exams as part of CTE, ESSA and Perkins funding programs.
- Higher-Education – sign multi-campus universities and community-college systems that embed our certificates into degree pathways.
- Strategic Partnership – partner with organization in the software industry and beyond to create clear market opportunities
- Independent software vendors (ISVs) – land strategic deals to host their certification exams on the KP stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and convert a qualified pipeline of K-12, HED and ISV opportunities using outbound ABM, partner referrals, conferences and your own network connections.
- Lead discovery, solution design, pilots and commercial negotiation through close.
- Forecast accurately in the CRM; hit quarterly new-booking, margin and vendor-onboard KPIs.
- Coordinate with Product & Engineering to scope API / LTI integrations for vendor exams and campus systems.
- Track funding cycles (ESSER, Title IV, Perkins, Canada provincial grants); translate them into GTM plays.
- Represent KP at ISTE, EDUCAUSE, ACTE, FETC, Bett USA and other events.
- Provide market feedback that shapes product roadmap, pricing and enablement content.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 10+ years enterprise or channel BD in ed-tech, certification, LMS/LTI or SaaS.
- Proven record of closing $1 M+ multi-year deals with K-12 districts, university systems or ISVs.
- Deep network with US superintendents / curriculum directors, HED online-program deans, and vendor certification managers.
- Working knowledge of FERPA, COPPA, ADA Section 508 and Canadian equivalents.
- Skilled at complex sales cycles (6–12 months) and managing multi-stakeholder committees.
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Able to travel 25–40 %.
