Knowledge Pillars is committed to making its learning platform accessible to every educator and student, including those who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is a core part of how the platform delivers competency-based certifications and curriculum in Coding, Web Development, AI, and Cybersecurity to K-12 classrooms.
This statement applies to the Knowledge Pillars learning platform, available at platform.knowledge-pillars.com. The platform is where teachers and students access courses, hands-on labs, and certification exams across Coding, Web Development, AI, and Cybersecurity.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.
How Knowledge Pillars Tests the Platform
Knowledge Pillars evaluates platform accessibility through a combination of automated and manual testing:
- Automated scans using industry-standard accessibility testing tools across page templates and learner workflows.
- Manual audits of keyboard navigation, focus order, color contrast, form labeling, error handling, and screen reader output.
- Reviews of new features and content before release as part of the standard development process.
Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
The Knowledge Pillars learning platform is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technology and browser combinations:
- Latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari on desktop and mobile.
- NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows.
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.

The platform may not work as expected on browsers older than two major versions.

Some certification delivery and proctoring functionality is provided through partner systems. Knowledge Pillars works with these partners to maintain accessibility but cannot guarantee conformance of content served from external systems.
Live Coding Environments
Hands-on lab interfaces include interactive coding components. Where a specific lab task is not fully accessible to assistive technology, an alternative assessment path is available.
